Amy Love, MA, MT-BC, CPMT

Amy Love is a passionate music therapist who loves working in a children's hospital. She currently works for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. There, she developed initial programming for patients with rare and acute diagnoses from around the world. The program continues to develop, and Amy presently specializes in work with patients with solid tumors and brain tumors and directs the national roster internship program at her site.

Amy received both a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Music Therapy. She holds additional certifications in Neurologic Music Therapy, NICU Music Therapy, and Guided Imagery - Level 1. She also is certified as a pediatric massage therapist with additional training for the medical setting. She is active in a variety of committees that focus on bioethics, integrative medicine and quality of life. Amy also serves as a clinical supervision facilitator for healthcare professionals at her institution.

As music therapy continues to gain recognition in the medical community, Amy wants to empower YOU to make a meaningful impact. She established Pediatric Music Therapy as a collaborative community for pediatric music therapists to join together - gain new skills, connect with their colleagues, and feel empowered to grow and advocate for the work we do.
